Projects

At the Faculty research is done both within funds awarded by the National Science Centre NCN and the National Centre for Research and Development NCBR and from funds obtained from other sources. The range of projects financed by the National Science Centre covers experimental and theoretical work undertaken primarily to acquire new knowledge on fundamentals of phenomena and observable facts, with no intention of direct commercial application. In contrast, projects funded by the National Centre for Research and Development are done in close collaboration with the industry and their aim is to transfer the research results to the economy, which will increase its competitiveness.
