The Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology has been awarded the highest scientific category, A+, in the field of Materials Engineering in the latest stage of Poland's national research quality evaluation. The results were announced by the Minister of Science and Higher Education on 22 July 2026.
On 6 July 2026, the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering hosted the inauguration of the on-site part of the Reimagining Waste: Ethical and Sustainable Solutions in Waste Management Summer School (Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme), organised by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology and the Universitat Politècnica de València within the ENHANCE Alliance. The Summer School brings together 21 students from seven ENHANCE partner universities.
On June 23, 2026, Dr. Bartłomiej Przybyszewski delivered a seminar titled "From Hydrophobicity to Icephobicity: Advances in Functional Polymer Coatings" as part of the Matter & Photonics Seminars series, organized by the Department of Physics at UNIBA-POLIBA.
