From September 14 to 17, 2026, Warsaw University of Technology hosted the EMRS Fall Meeting for the 24th time, bringing together materials scientists from around the world. The international conference, organized by the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS), attracted more than 1,300 scientists from 56 countries this year.
The 12th Conference on Modification, Degradation, and Stabilization of Polymers (MoDeSt 2026) was held in Lyon, France, from August 31 to September 3, 2026. The international conference brought together researchers working on the modification, degradation, and stabilization of polymer materials. Kamila Salasińska, professor at Warsaw University of Technology, participated in the conference and delivered a presentation entitled „Sustainable flame retardant system with thermally modified plant waste for engineering plastics”.
On August 3, 2026, our Faculty hosted a delegation from Zhejiang University of Technology in China. The meeting provided an opportunity to present the research activities of both institutions and exchange knowledge and experience in the field of laser technologies.
