Hydrogen is seen as a clean fuel of the future, especially when produced using renewable energy. But storing it efficiently remains a major challenge. Most of today’s hydrogen storage methods weren’t really designed with cost, environmental impact, or energy efficiency in mind. This project aims to change that.

We’re exploring new, smarter porous materials to store hydrogen that are not only effective but also environmentally friendly and affordable. By improving storage, we can make better use of green energy sources like wind and solar power.

The project focuses on two innovative materials: aerogels and high-entropy alloys (HEAs).
